Vĩnh Long Province is leveraging its waterway connectivity and landscapes, cultural heritage, and regional links to turn tourism into a key economic sector and new growth driver for the Cửu Long (Mekong) Delta.
The Mekong Delta locality has enhanced tourism promotion activities with an emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendliness, steadily building the brand of Vinh Long as a safe, hospitable, and high-quality destination.
The Cửu Long (Mekong Delta) province of Vĩnh Long will focus on developing new tourism products by exploiting cultural traditions and its potential for marine tourism to boost tourism, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
Following the merger on July 1, the newly formed Vĩnh Long has a 130km coastline, an area of more than 6,200 sq.km and a population nearing 4.2 million, opening up new opportunities for tourism development.
The second Hat Ngoc Mua Vang (Pearl of Golden Crop) contest was held
